My husband’s grandmother hand tatted the lace, gifted to me from my mother in law,  I’ve used as a model for the Lillian’s Lace pieces. Lillian, a young widow in Alabama with four children, a teacher who became a college administrator, led a breakaway group that started an all inclusive Baptist Congregation after the SBC voted to maintain segregated congregations. Lillian is an inspiration for all.
